Angels and Deities

Living and working in China for 20 years, exhibiting my art, teaching, and embracing the culture, left an indelible mark on my artistic expression and spiritual outlook. Eastern spiritualityand Buddhism began to manifest in my art in 2004, with figurative paintings evolving into complex narratives. By 2019, I developed a technique of sketching real-life figures and transforming them into multi-dimensional forms, reflecting diverse states of consciousness and aspects of identity. This approach encouraged viewers to explore interconnectedness and spirituality in contemporary art. "Angels and Deities" are angels and and deities (protectors) that ward off evil influences that incur in individual realities.
