Staring through me
Staring, thinking, penetrating.
It’s raining in my head.
Drip, drop
Drip drop
No umbrella
No escape
Cloudy
Wet
Mushy
Mushy, mushy, mushroom
Ink drips from my hand
Through my pen into my mind forming these words.
Freeze frame
Frozen like a photograph.
Standing still
Pretending that I don’t exist.
Body frozen, my mind racing melting, voices
telling me what to do next.
First one than another and they tell a friend and they
tell friends and
SHUT UP!
Quiet now – not a peep.
The rain dissipates
No audio, no video
Only you.
